This page documents how Websites on Wheels LLC collects consent to send SMS text messages. We only text people who have expressly agreed to receive messages from us.
How Customers Opt In (Verbal Consent by Phone)
We speak with local business owners by telephone to introduce our website design services. During that call, before any text message is ever sent, our representative asks for permission to text using the following script:
“Would you like me to text you the free website mockup designs and follow-up information? You would receive texts from Websites on Wheels at this number. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Is that okay?”
Only if the business owner clearly answers yes do we send any SMS. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. The first message we send confirms the subscription and repeats the opt-out instructions.
How Team Members Opt In
Websites on Wheels employees and contractors may verbally request to be added to internal notification texts (for example, new lead alerts). They can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Opt-Out and Help
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. We send one final confirmation of your opt-out and nothing further.
